Terms and Conditions

Grupo Playa Pacifica S.A. Doing business as Sirena Surf Lodge (SSL) and incorporated in Nicaragua has the following terms and conditions:

By submitting a deposit for reservation to SSL the guest accepts these terms and conditions.

Please obtain travel insurance at least 30 days prior to your arrival.  There are no refunds. 

Always carry your travel insurance documents while traveling.

SSL is not responsible for cancellations due to medical reasons, immigration issues, pandemic testing restrictions, mandated quarantine, civil unrest, flight delays, flight cancellations, surfboard breakage/loss/damage, stolen property, inclement weather, or poor surf conditions.

SSL assumes no liability due to natural disasters or climatic conditions, that may render conditions for surfing dangerous or impossible, we reserve the sole right and discretion to determine if existing conditions are too dangerous for our equipment or staff to operate safely. The passengers shall comply with the instructions of the guide/staff/managers at all times.

SSL reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay without refund if they violate the code of conduct or they do not follow the directions of their guide, captain, or managers or if at any time their behavior or actions are unsafe to themselves or others. Costs not included in tours include: Airfare, visitor visa, excess Baggage, board fees, personal spending money, gratuities, travel insurance, vaccines, Covid testing costs, meals other than those provided as part of a meal package, bar/beverage charges, taxi surcharges for late/early arrivals or departures (additional $20 for transport outside the hours of 7am to 8pm), late check in (after 9pm is $10 and after 11pm is $20), Late checkout (after 11am is $20),extra boat rides/surf trips, fuel surcharges, snacks, additional food or increased food portions, , kitchen use, laundry service, souvenirs, massages, board rentals unless a “learn to surf” trip has been booked, rental board breakage, leash breakage, rental board damage, fishing trips, airport transfers (unless as part of an all inclusive trip of at least 6 nights), other extracurricular activities outside of what is included in the all inclusive package.

Reservation policies:

  1. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
  2. The remaining balance is due upon arrival.

Cancelation Policy

Any form of payment implies full acceptance of the Terms and Conditions outlined on this website.

  1. We understand that changes occur which may affect your ability to travel and visit us in Nicaragua. Travel insurance is necessary to cover these instances out of your control.  For cancellations made more than 30 days before check-in, the deposit may be applied as a non-transferable credit valid for one (1) year from the cancellation date.
  2. For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to check-in, 100% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
  3. We do not offer refunds or partial refunds for any reason including early departures due to poor surf conditions or inclement weather.
